FATHER WHO ARE THESE KIDS TODAY?
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves,
covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,”
(2 Timothy 3: 1, KJV)
Eli! Eli! Why are they so ungodly?
Did we give them too much? Did we not give enough?
Was it too easy? Or did we make it to rough?
Did they forget, we gave them our last?
There’s nothing else left to give,
Not even our past!
Did we forget to hide those Scriptures in their hearts?
Did they forget; while rough on us?
They still had a good start!
Down and over the years,
For each of them; (I cried)
We’ve shed so many tears,
And their hardened hearts just don’t get it, nor do they care.
They want everything they see, for free, and want it right now,
Without a care of who works to get it, nor concerned with the sweat of one’s brow.
Turning stuff into their little gods, while in submission, somehow it takes their final bow!
Our prayers can only carry them into adulthood,
They ‘must’ then pick up, and carry their own cross; which is completely understood.
Father who are these kids today?
We don’t know them anymore,
As they text, tweet, and double tap their lives away.
Yeshua we’d like them re-introduced to you again someday,
So you’ll return them to the Father, from whence they came
And then He’ll, return them back to us, with His ‘SCRIPT’ flipped marked SAVED!
Eli, Your Son was never foreign to thee,
Yeshua will forever be ‘THE FINAL WORD’ of THE POWERS TO BE!
